What we collect
- Account details: if you register, we store your name, email address, mobile number, date of birth and sex, your preferred language, and a securely hashed (not plain-text) password. You can update these on your profile page.
- Google Sign-In: if you choose "Continue with Google", Google confirms your identity to us. We receive your name, your email address and a Google account identifier — never your Google password.
- Purchase details: if you buy a plan, we store your name, email, mobile number, the idea and plan you bought, the price, and the payment reference ID from Razorpay, plus any extra details we ask for at checkout and any answers you give in a personalised plan's requirements form. We do not store your card, UPI, or bank details — Razorpay handles those directly.
- Browsing activity (optional analytics): only if you choose "Accept All" in our cookie banner, we log which ideas you view and which buttons you click (e.g. "view idea," "click buy," "open chat"), tied to an anonymous session ID stored in your browser. If you're logged in, this activity is linked to your account; if not, it stays anonymous. If you choose "Reject Optional", none of this is recorded. If you save ideas to a wishlist or like, comment on or share an idea, that is stored too (comments are shown with your name).
- Website chat: messages you send to our AI assistant on the website are sent to a third-party AI model provider that we configure (currently reached through a gateway such as OpenRouter; the provider and model can change) so that it can write a reply. A random visitor ID in a cookie is used to count your free chats and to remember the language you asked for; it does not contain your name or contact details.
- WhatsApp: if you message our WhatsApp Business number, your messages travel through Meta's WhatsApp Business platform. We do not store your phone number — only a one-way scrambled identifier of it (and the last four digits, so that our team can tell two chats apart), whether the chat has been handed to a person or you sent STOP, and, for a short time, your most recent messages and our replies so that follow-up questions make sense (a few recent turns, removed after 24 hours). Message text is not otherwise kept unless we switch on message logging for troubleshooting (it is off by default). Answers to questions we cannot answer from our own catalogue are written by the same AI model provider described above. Reply STOP at any time to stop automatic replies.
Why we collect it
- To deliver the business plan you purchased
- To let you log in and see your own order history
- To answer your questions on the website and on WhatsApp
- To understand which ideas people are most interested in, so we know which detailed plans to write next
- To contact you about your order, or (only if you've registered) about new plans becoming available
Cookies and browser storage
What we store on your device falls into two categories. You choose about the second one in our cookie banner, and you can change your choice at any time with Cookie Preferences in the footer. We do not use advertising or marketing cookies or trackers.
Essential — always active. These keep the site secure and working, so they are not switched off by the cookie banner:
- Visitor cookie (ws50_visitor): a signed, HttpOnly cookie holding a random ID. It counts free AI chats, remembers the language you asked for, keeps a guest's wishlist and purchase enquiries, and applies the limits on free and paid content views for guests. It lasts up to 400 days.
- Login: your login token and basic account details (ws50_token, ws50_user) are kept in your browser storage; a login lasts up to 30 days.
- Cart and checkout: your cart (ws50_cart); the name, email and mobile number you type at checkout, saved so you do not retype them (ws50_checkout_info); and the action you were about to take while logging in (ws50_pending_auth).
- Guest limits: a list of the free ideas a guest has opened (ws50_guest_viewed).
- Requirements drafts: an unsent draft of a personalised plan's requirements form, kept in your browser (ws50_req_draft_…).
- Your cookie choice (ws50_cookie_consent): only your choice and the banner version, so we do not ask again on every visit.
- Payments (Razorpay): Razorpay's checkout script is loaded when you start a purchase (when the payment details form opens), not while you browse. In our own testing it stores its own session cookie (rzp_unified_session_id) and device identifiers (rzp_device_id, rzp_checkout_anon_id, __rzp_risk) on our site's domain, which it uses for payment security. Razorpay's payment window may store more; see Razorpay's own privacy policy.
Analytics — optional, off until you choose "Accept All".
- Anonymous session ID (ws50_session): used only for our own first-party usage events (a page viewed, an idea viewed, buy clicked, chat opened), which are sent to our own server. If you choose "Reject Optional" (or have not chosen yet) this ID is not created and nothing is sent; if you reject after accepting, the ID is removed from your browser.
- Google Analytics: we use Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors use our website. Its script only loads, and it only starts measuring, once you choose "Accept All" — the same choice that enables our own first-party analytics above. If you choose "Reject Optional" (or have not chosen yet), Google Analytics is not loaded and nothing is sent to it. See Google's own privacy policy for how it handles this data.
Third-party services that load on our pages. They may set their own cookies or storage under their own policies, which we do not control:
- Google Sign-In (a Google script on the homepage and profile pages) and Google Fonts (homepage).
- jsDelivr, which delivers a small animation library on the homepage.
- YouTube: video thumbnails appear on the homepage, and YouTube's player loads when you open or view a video.
- Our hero video files are served from our own subdomain, tambola.ideaspulse.in.
- Instagram is linked from our pages as an outbound link only; no Instagram content is embedded.
You can also clear or block cookies and site data in your browser settings; blocking the essential ones may stop parts of the site (login, cart, checkout, chat limits) from working.
Who we share it with
We share payment details with Razorpay (to process your payment); chat and WhatsApp messages with our AI model provider (to write replies) and Meta (WhatsApp delivers the messages); sign-in details with Google if you use Google Sign-In; and our hosting and email-delivery providers process data on our behalf to run the site and send verification or password-reset emails. We do not sell your personal information to advertisers or other third parties.
How we store it
Your data is stored in a database on our hosting provider's servers. Passwords are never stored in plain text — they're hashed using industry-standard encryption (bcrypt) before being saved. Administrative access to customer data is restricted to authorised administrators.
How long we keep it
- Recent WhatsApp messages kept for follow-up questions: removed after 24 hours.
- Visitor cookie: up to 400 days. Login on your device: up to 30 days.
- Account, order, requirements-form and activity records: we have not set a fixed automatic deletion period for these. We keep them while your account exists and as needed to support your purchases, and we delete them when you ask us to (below).
Your choices
- You can use most of this site — browsing ideas and chatting with the assistant — without creating an account. Buying a paid plan is done from your account.
- You can update your profile details yourself, and you can ask us to access, correct or delete your account and associated data at any time by writing to support@ideaspulse.in (see below).
- You can change your cookie choice at any time with "Cookie Preferences" in the footer.
- On WhatsApp, reply STOP to stop automatic replies; reply START to resume.
